Are you experiencing thoughts like these?

I’m just not myself lately.
I think I may be depressed.
It’s not even worth getting out of bed.
I have so much going on that I can’t even think straight.
Ever since ___________, my life has not been the same.

Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I’ll try again tomorrow. – Mary Anne Radmacher

Life’s challenges and experiences can be overwhelming. These challenges and experiences may leave us feeling disappointed, sad, anxious, frustrated, stressed, or angry. Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we are unable to take on these challenges and experiences by ourselves.  Sometimes we look to family and friends as a shoulder to cry on as well as to help us get through challenging times. However, there are times where our efforts to get through this by ourselves or with the help of family and friends does not simply seem to work. Seeking help from a professional does not mean you are weak and unable to take care of yourself. Seeking help takes strength and courage. Strength and courage you probably did not know you had during this challenging time. If you need it, seek help. Also, support others who do the same.
